The Rounds
-Jeremy Albers
We did them eight times a night. The rounds, that is. Another (bored) watchstander once counted his paces and calculated the total at just about four miles per shift. Not bad, with the elevation change. So, the following constitutes one official fire-and-security round of the Caribbean Mercy. It also could make for a nice little nostalgia tour – especially if you’re one of the many CBMers-in-exile. It’ll look a little different than you remembered…but that’s life,
But if any of this sounds familiar, then this one’s for you.
